Meliodas POV
They stayed in the woods for a while. They had started walking, to where meliodas didn’t know but he followed them. He didn’t have anything better to do or anywhere else to go so he went with them. Zenitsu complain every five minutes and wanted to stop. Meliodas was getting annoyed he could tell that Inosuke was as well. “Meliodas..... can we stop” Hawk whined and now Hawk was wanting to stop.
“No, stop asking” Meliodas says Hawk huffed and hung back with Zenitsu Meliodas was bored and tired. He was also hungry and Inosuke kept trying to provoke him into a fight. Meliodas was tempted to actually fight the boar kid However he needed to prove to them that he was docile. Even though he was not. Suddenly out if no where a crow appeared. It went right to Tanjiro
“north northwest a demon has been spotted north northwest” The crow cawwed
“Oh hell yes! Let’s go!” Inosuke yells
“ how far" Meliodas asks
“north northwest" the crow calls “run tanjiro a demon has been spotted in a nearby village"
“I don’t want to run" Zenitsu says
“looks like we’re running lead the way crow" Meliodas says as tanjiro takes off running inosuke and Meliodas hot on his heels. They ran for what felt like a while untill they came to a little village “wonder if they have a bar" Meliodas mused aloud.
“why do you want a bar" Zenitsu asks
“why do people go to bars" Meliodas says “for ale"
“Whats ale" Inosuke questions
“sake" Tanjiro says “ale is a old term for it.”
“I don’t know what that is" Inosuke says
“Stupid boar" Zenitsu mutters
“Your to young for it anyway” Meliodas says “lets skip the ale and get food”
“I agree with that" Inosuke says
“Be warned he doesnt use his chopsticks” Zenitsu says
“Chopsticks?” Meliodas asks
“You dont know what Chopsticks are” Zenitsu says
“Nope ‘fraid not. We used forks and Knives” Meliodas says
“That’s going to be a problem” Tanjiro says
“Nah” Meliodas says grabbing a battle knife from his pocket and peice of wood. “If you’ll give me a moment I’ll make me a set. I learned how to craft some when I wanted to by a bar. Metal is safest but Wood works fine. I could never learn to craft with Metal
“Check your emergency pack idiot” Hawk says
“Huh” meliodas says he takes his shatual off “Oh score!”
“Elizabeth packed everyone a emergency pack she made sure to pack a set of utensils.” Hawk says
“Yeah I saw them” Meliodas pulls out a bottle
"That’s probably water” Hawk says
“yep, water" Meliodas says they ho and get food. Come night fall they start investigating the town. “so what exactly are we looking for?”
“ Our demons leave death in their wake" Tanjiro says
“cool" Meliodas says “so why are you smelling the air"
“to find a scent of blood.” Tanjiro says
“Does one demon really require four people" Meliodas questions
“You don’t have a demon slayer blade. You can’t actually kill them" Zenitsu says
“well see about that” Meliodas says before pausing
“what is it" Tanjiro says
“I feel something. Something evil is near. No multiple somethings. One… four… seven there are seven evil beings nearby. I couldn’t feel them during the day but now that all the people are asleep I feel them” Meliodas says
“you can feel evil" Zenitsu says
“call it a perk of being the demon kings son" Meliodas says taking lead he pulls his broken blade from its sheath “this may not kill them but it sure as well will hurt"
“With that small blade? Doubtful” Zenitsu says
“As my brother has said even a piece of junk is the sharpest sword in a masters hand" Meliodas says “come on, lets find these demons" they make their way to the center of town where they see four girls eating humans and three white demons of meliodas world
“what the hell" Zenitsu trembles in fear “those are-"
“from my world" Meliodas says “okay listen up. Do not let their hands touch you. They will steal your soul. They have three hearts you must destroy all three of them. If purple specks form around them run. That will kill you in a instant. Let me handle them you handle your demons. Ill tag in when I handle these guys"
“can you get all three by yourself" Tanjiro says
“three level threes? No sweat" Meliodas says
“Looks like we have some demon slayers” a demon says
“And the traitor meliodas. You’ve saved us some trouble we have been looking for you brat" the white demons say
“For what" Meliodas says
“We need your blood to bring back the demon king" They say
“I will never allow you to do that” Meliodas says jumping back from an attack
“Then we will take you by force” One of the three say Meliodas grins
“Back in the day, remind me, what did they call me?” Meliodas says “Aside from the traitor what was my tittle? And what was my nickname” Their eyes go wide “Go on, say it”
“meliodas the destoyer” One says slowly
“The destoyer?” Zenitsu says
“And my nickname?” Meliodas asks ignoring Zenitsu
“Bloody Meli” another says
“Good. And you think you can take me down? Your a level three demon. I’m a level ten. Run while you still can; leave while I am feeling merciful” Meliodas says
“DIE!” one yells Meliodas goes to side step but the attack misses him entirly the Demon barrels at Tanjiro
“Tanjiro look out!” Tanjiro dodged “That’s it. Mercy’s gone” Meliodas says “Prepair to die”
“Wait Prince... I mean Lord Meliodas we can talk about this” The one Level two demon said
“The Time for talking has passed. I gave you a chance to leave why didnt you take it” Meliodas says “You tried to kill my new friend and you want mercy. I have no mercy to give you”
“No Please” They begged as Meliodas pulled his dragon hilted sword and slashed up taking out all three of them at once
“All.....All dead with one swing” Zenitsu says “All that with that broken sword”
“It will take more than that to kill me Meliodas the destroyer” one of the new world Demons say
“Now it’s our turn!”Insouke pulled both his swords and lunged at a Demon
“Meliodas stand back you did your part, Let them do theirs” Hawk says
“no no that’s okay if you want to take the demon you can” Zenitsu says
“Sorry but im not gonna do your job for you Zenitsu” Meliodas says
“I was afriad you were going to say that” Zenitsu cries “Oh I dont wannna do this, Tanjiroooo”
“Stop crying you baby” Inosuke says Zenitsu pulls his sword and runs at the Demon in fear only to get knocked out a moment later
“Guess I can keep them busy untill one of the other two can handle it” Meliodas sighs. “hawk tend to Zenitsu” as Meliodas says the Demon grabs Inosuke by the throat “Oh sh*t!”
“INOSUKE!” Tanjiro yells he abandons the demon he was fighting and ran to help Inosuke who got slammed on the ground by the demon, Inosuke was clawing at the hand around his throat telling Meliodas that he couldnt breath. He was trying his best to get free but couldnt
“I guess I’ll keep these two busy” Meliodas says
“Oh I see this one is very dear to you” The Demon says and he goes to slam Inosuke on the ground again
“Not so fast!” A voice called out “Snatch!” Suddonly Insouke was no longer in The demons grasp
“That’s not possible!” The demon yells “I had him by the throat he wasnt getting out”
“Insouke!” Tanjiro calls looking franticly for his friend, he has to jump out of the way of the Demon was had attempted to grab him
“Not so fast Bitch” the voice yells Meliodas turns to see Ban holding Inosuke over his shoulder. “Hawk watch this” he throws Inosuke toward Hawk. Inosuke was no longer awake. Ban pulled his nunchuckes out
“You cant defeat me! You are not a Demonslayer” The demon said
“We’ll see about that Lady” Ban says “Fox hunt!”
“Wait no!” Tanjrio calls as the Demon rips Ban’s arm off
“He’s fine Tanjiro! Kill the Demon” Meliodas yells Ban’s arm regrows, Meliodas was actually struggling to keep both demons focused on him and not going after Zenitsu and Inosuke “Hawk get them out of here. I cant keep these demons-” Meliodas doesnt finnish what he was saying because suddonly Zenitsu was on his feet with his sword out
“Thunder breathing First form: Thunderclap and flash” Zenitsu says before Meliodas could react both Demons heads were on the ground and they began to dissolve
“Zenitsu... you did it” Meliodas says “Wait, are you still asleep?!”
“Seams so” Ban says as Tanjrio finnished off the other demon “Having a bit of trouble with those two Captian”
“Shut up, only a certin sword can kill them” Meliodas says “A broken blade can only do so much damage. I was more keeping them from trying to eat Zenitsu and Inosuke. Where’s lancelot?”
“My hope is that he is with Elaine so he can take care of her” Ban says
“Yes, I only hope that Tristen is with Elizabeth. I dont really want him wandering this land alone” Meliodas says
“Yeah that’s a big no” Ban says
“Wait, there were four demons where did the other one go?” Meliodas says looking around
“they must have fled" Tanjiro says moments later Meliodas is tackled by something from behind
“ I am going to devour you little boy” The demon flys Meliodas high into the sky his sword slips from his grasp
“Captain!” Ban says
“Meliodas!” Tanjiro yells
“I’ll get him. You there throw me” Inosuke says Meliodas wandered when he had woken up
“Dont" Meliodas yells down to them he rips free of the demons grasp and he falls
“no!! A fall from that height!” Tanjiro says
“Relax kids. The captains got this" Ban says as Meliodas lands on his feet making a dent in the ground pulling out his mark “go get him buddy” Meliodas growled and flew at the demon
“your goanna taste the power of a new breed of demon. Filthy Welch" Meliodas growled slashing the demon with his claws
“New breed of demon…. You’re a demon?!” says the demon “I must report this to Muzan at once"
“you won’t get that far” Meliodas says “you die right here right now”
“Blood Demon Art: teleportation" The demon says and they were gone
“sh*t" Meliodas says landing beside the others dropping his demon mark “are you okay Inosuke”
“The king of the mountain never gets hurt! How dare you assume I was injured” Inosuke says
“Good, in glad your safe" Meliodas says
“did we beat them?” Zenitsu says
“one got away. The demons know about meli now" Tanjiro says
“it was only a matter of time" Meliodas says “Inosuke you’ve been rather quiet you sure you alright over there?”
“Fight me!” Inosuke yells pointing at Meliodas and ban
“Uh what” Ban says
“im goanna prove that I’m stronger than you! I am the strongest. Fight me so I can take you down" Inosuke says ban burst out in laughter
“You two are peas in a pod captain. Okay sure thing little one ill fight you but I don’t wanna hear it when you loose" Ban says
“Ban no, inosuke you are the strongest you don’t need to prove it to us. We just had a taxing fight so maybe we can fight another day” Meliodas says
