Mitski's New Live Album, 'The Land', Captures Her Majestic Performances
Mitski, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, has released a new live album titled 'The Land: The Live Album', offering fans an intimate glimpse into her captivating performances. The album, available exclusively on Bandcamp, showcases Mitski's dynamic stage presence and her ability to transform her music across different eras. This collection of songs was recorded during three nights at Atlanta's Fox Theater in September 2024, as part of her tour promoting her critically acclaimed seventh album, 'The Land is Inhospitable and So Are We'.
Mixed by long-time collaborator Patrick Hyland, the album features a diverse selection of songs from Mitski's extensive catalog, including reimagined tracks from 'Be the Cowboy', 'Laurel Hell', and 'Puberty 2'. The 21-track digital release is now available on Bandcamp, with a special, limited-edition Blue Light color vinyl pressing containing 12 tracks also available for pre-order. In addition to the album, Mitski is releasing her very first concert film, also titled 'The Land', directed by Grant James.
